UVU all the way!!!!

I am so excited, I could hardly sleep last night and in shock all at once! :) I am now the new Social Chair for UVUSA (Utah Valley University Students Association). For those of you who know I applied and I GOT IT!!! I have been wanting to do this position for a while now but didn't have the GPA last year. I was at a 2.9 and you had to have a 3.0 to apply so I had to wait until the fall semester of last year was over cause then i would my GPA would go up, and it did. But during the middle of this semester the girl who had the Social Chair position decided to quit, so that left an opening. I applied and even though they said I was the most qualified, they gave it to some guy (actually his name is AJ, LOSER! jk) because he was kind of working under the girl who quit, so instead of training a new person they give it to him. So, i was kind of like whatever, i will apply for the new year and see what happens. My good friend Trevor is the new Student Body President for UVU! Yay! Congrats! He was giving me all this advise for my interview that I had on Monday. I think it only made me more nervous. But I went into my interview, thought I did okay. I was still nervous because Trevor had told me 9 other people applied for the same position as I did and one of them was Kim's (VP of Student Activities) cousin so I thought that there was even a bigger chance I wouldn't get it. So interviews were Monday and Tuesday and tuesday night, Trevor text me and says..."I just love you so much!" Now, I was thinking, great he is only saying that cause I didn't get it right? So, i reply thanks, love you too. but you can tell me its okay. :) He then said He can't that's Kims job. Then I was thinking, great even if you don't get it? He said YEAH so I was thinking I didn't get it. Anyways, to make a long story short. lol Kim called me last night and Congrats me and asked if I will except the position of Social Chair on the UVUSA? :) Of course I was like YES!!! I am so excited to have this opportunity to work with the students at UVU and meet new people and most of all HAVE FUN! Cause we all know, I am so Young!!! ;) GO UVU!
