Does someone need a hug?

I love Christmas time! I love buying gifts for people you love, the Christmas movies on every channel, and the decorations all around you. I am so excited for this Christmas because we get to be in our house this year and then we get to meet up with Steve's family in January for Disney World!!! That's right we are going to Disney World! I even made a Disney World countdown for Steve. He loves it! :) We had a great Thanksgiving with my family and we even did a Human Turkey Run the day of Thanksgiving. It was FREEZING! I was even on the news for like one min. :) I was interviewed about why I was doing the run etc. The picture below explains it all. It was my brother in laws hat that he was going to wear but he decided it would fall off when he was running, so I wore it. :) Everyone walked (except for Steve...he slept in) this year except for my brother in law, he actually did the 10K and still beat us all walking. We love having time to spend with our families. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Let's remember the spirit of Christmas and center our life's around Christ.
PS Thanks Sara for posting the pictures on your blog so I can use them too!

We had a sister night out at Gardner Village and met this very cute little elf at one of the stores. She also dresses up at Witches Night Out as one of the Sanderson Sisters.

October Fun!

Can you believe we have been married for ONE year!!!! Crazy, huh...its gone by so fast. We have had a great October together. We moved into our new house (see pictures below) had our 1st anniversary together and Halloween!!! I LOVE Halloween!!! It's my favorite holiday. We have been busy with work and just unpacking our house. My downstairs is unpacked. Now I need to work on my upstairs and painting. :) It's been so fun and nice to have our own place. We love our new little house. With October coming to an end I can't believe Thanksgiving is coming up and then Christmas...where has this year gone? We are so lucky and blessed to have a great house and loving friends and family around us. Happy Halloween!
PS Did I mention we get to go to Disney World in January!!! :)

I have been really bad with taking pictures lately so this is the ONLY picture I took when we went to Park City for our ONE year anniversary.

Our first House!

Yes, we finally closed on our house in Lehi yesterday. We couldn't be more excited and blessed to be able to own our very first house together. :) We count our blessings everyday for all that we have. As for now we get to pack the rest of our apartment this weekend so we can move in on Monday! :) It's such a cute house and I can't wait to start our family in it. Now we just need to convince Steve that he can handle kids. ;) No one is really ever ready to have kids right? :) I hope you enjoy the pictures of our new house and hope you can stop by sometime to see it. We would love visitors. :)

Hey Mickey!

Words can't describe how much fun we had with my family at Disneyland! 5 days at Disneyland and the beach...WOW! :) I would have to say the only down fall on our trip was when I got sick one night. I know right...who gets sick at Disneyland? Just me! Wednesday night I was up all night til about six throwing up and sitting on the toilet. It wasn't my favorite part of Disneyland but I was able to sleep in that morning til about noon and then I felt much better so we met up with the rest of the Oldson gang later that day. :) We went to the beach and even got to see a Angel's game. It was a fun trip and we can't wait to go to Disney World in January with Steve's side of the family.:) I know you are jealous. ;)

One Word...Disneyland!

This week has made me realize how Lucky and Blessed I am in my life. I have a great husband who is amazing, we have great parents, loving family all around us and the gospel in our live's. To start out our week Steve got a new Honda Accord. 2007- fully loaded. He is really excited about it and it's super nice. :) Then we started looking for housing again since a house we put an offer in countered back still WAY to high. So we continued our search and found the perfect house for us right now! It's in Lehi across the street from my best friend Lacie! :) We are super excited to be under contract with this house right now and we hope to move in by the middle of October...maybe sooner. ;) Then to top of our week we are leaving for DISNEYLAND tomorrow!!! What a great way to end August and begin September. We are so excited to spend a whole week with my side of the family. 5 days in Disneyland is the best way to start out September don't you think? :)

Happy Birthday to Me!

So for my birthday this year my co-worker and friend Kelli and Taylor gave me two tickets to Carrie Underwood/Stadium of Fire! It was SOOOOO much fun! First of all, its Carrie and she can sing and second she is so freakin HOT!!! If I was guy, I would totally be all over that! lol We got to see not only Carrie and the great fireworks for the 4th of July but we also got to see the Osmond 2nd Generation baby! We had a great time. Steve would have enjoyed the show a lot more if the man behind him didn't have his knees pushing in Steve's back. But I had a lot of fun singing and dancing along with Carrie! Thanks Kelli for the great birthday gift. We had a BLAST...or at least I did! ;)

I just love her

She is so Beautiful!

Yes...I know, we are cute. We are going to make cute babies huh!? ;)

Bowling with Cody

Me and Cody bowling before we got the child bowling ramp :)

Cosmic bowling with Uncle Steve

One night we took our nephew bowling with us late at night. The other people at the bowling alley were probably thinking we were horrible parents...keeping our kid up that late but he had so much! It was like 8 or 9 o'clock when we started bowling but Cody had a blast with his favorite Aunt Ashley and Steve! :) He even got a strike!

Tri #3

Team Spencer crossing the finish line

My biggest fan EVER! :)

Coming out of the water

Look at us...Team Spencer
I did it!!!! Don't worry I didn't die on my swim part on this tri. :) Surprisingly it only took me 24 min to finish which last year I did the swim part in 23 min. It just comes to show that training to swim means nothing to me! ;) Team Spencer finished the tri in 2 hrs. and 6 min. We did awesome. I was so proud of my sister Rondee and Steph. They did great with the bike and run. Next year I think they should do the whole thing. I did miss doing all three parts...I even met Rondee at the very bottom of the hill to run up hill with her to the finish line. Team Spencer did it!!!

Triathlon #3?

Yes, yes its true. I am doing another triathlon in T minus 5 days people! :) This year I have taken the easy way out and just doing a relay with my sister Rondee and my cousins wife Steph. :) But of course I am doing the worst part of the triathlon...the swim!!! Now ask me how many times I have been swimming? :) A BIG FAT 0! Yes, that's right, 0 times. :) I have been running...well a little. But I am not nervous about it this year at all. I figured I have finished the swim before I can do it again. We decided to name our team, Team Spencer. :) (Spencer is my brother who I beat a few times the years before) We figured that if we named our team that then if we did really bad it's Team Spencer and if we did really well, Spencer could say he had a successful triathlon. :) lol I love my brother...don't worry. So wish Team Spencer luck this weekend as we try to finish our relay triathlon. :) GO TEAM!

First Rodeo of the year

It was our friends Cameron's Birthday last Saturday and he wanted to go to a Rodeo. :) We said sure since Steve has never been to one before. We had a great time. I am still not sure if I like it when the kiddos ride onto a sheep. lol Don't get me wrong its super funny but I would never let my kid do that. :) We had such a great time...thanks Cameron for having a Birthday!

Birthday Boy Cameron

First half of some of the crew...Steve didn't know I was taking the picture

Matt...lol got to love him. :) He's single so if you know of any cute girl, let me know!

Steve wouldn't smile :)

A new day has come...

Yes, we finally got a KING size bed! It is heaven on earth and we are so happy about it. :) I had to post pictures for Jenny to see. Here you go Jenny enjoy because we do! :)

Graduation!!!!

I first need to say Congrats Steve! You ALMOST did it. ;) ( I say almost because Steve still needs to finish his math class in order to get his diploma. )You are the best husband ever. You accomplished your goal with college and I am so proud of you! I look up to you so much. Thanks for being a wonderful husband! Love You!

So you know when you go to some one's graduation you have the graduation song stuck in your head the WHOLE day? Yeah, that happened to me and let me tell you it was a LONG day! It all started at 10:30 and we didn't get out of the school until 4:30! Yes, 6 hours people!!!! That is way to long, someone needs to fix this madness. :) We had a long day but I am so proud of Steve. His parents flew in Wednesday night and left Saturday morning. It was a really fast trip but it was fun seeing them. :) Now that school is over the job hunt continues. He is still working part time at UVU right now but is looking for bigger and better things...so if you know of anything, let me know. :) I finish my classes and student government last week. I can't express how Happy I am to not to have Student Council anymore. Don't get me wrong, I loved the people on council and will miss them but it was time to move on. I am working as much as I can now at my Daycare so we can hopefully get insurance this fall. :) YAHOO!!! We are so excited to see what this year brings and can't wait to hang out with family and friends all summer long! :)

I am so proud of you Babe! Congrats! Love you!

Softball Time!

Steve is playing softball this season with some friends. They asked me if I wanted to play but lets be honest...I don't have the hand eye coordination nor do I have the patience to wait for the ball. I just laughed and told them No Thanks! I told them I would be a better cheerleader then anything. :) They had their first game last Friday. They lost but had fun playing. They only had one collusion that night too! :) It looked really bad but the two players from the same team walked away okay. Just sore and one bloody nose. Can't wait to see what the other games hold. :) GO The ONE HIT WONDERS! :)

MB Concert

I just realized I never posted my Michael Buble pictures from March!!! How could I have forgotten? It was the BEST concert we have been to in my life so far. MB is #1 cute, #2 funny, and #3 amazing singer/performer. We loved his concert and would recommend seeing him whenever you can. We had such a fun night. Thanks Michael!

Look how cute...

I had to post this picture because 1. my husband is so cute and 2. our new nephew Parks is stinkin cute as well. Steve can get Parks asleep like that. He is going to be such an amazing Dad!:)

Spring Break in Nauvoo

We had a blast in Nauvoo for our Spring Break. Steve's brother Mike was sealed to his wife Bione March 19th in the Nauvoo Temple. It was so fun to see everyone from Steve's side of the family.
We left Wednesday at 5:15 in the morning and boy was it a long flight. :) It all started with the airline we flew. Frontier...o how I will NEVER fly Frontier again! We got to the airport to check in and the lady checking us in I guess decided to take her time because it took her 30 min. to check us in!!!! I was so frustrated with her that I had to leave and let Steve get the tickets from her. After we received our tickets we went to our gate got on board and come to find out, you have to pay $6 to watch TV and you only got complimentary drinks. What flight doesn't let you have at least free peanuts!? Our journey only gets better with them too. Don't worry we also had a 4 hour layover in Denver. That was fun...not! We ended up buying some coloring books to kill some time. :)
We finally landed in Chicago and drove about 4 hours to get to Nauvoo. That part was nice cause we got to drive with his parents. When we arrived at Nauvoo it was about 9 o'clock Central time so we were really tired at this point. It had been a long traveling day. It was so fun to see Steve's family and all be in the same house together. His parents rented the Hyrum Smith farmhouse in Nauvoo. It was such a nice place and we all had a great time. Steve and I were really spoiled that weekend too. We got to sleep in a KING size bed and o boy do we need one of those now! It was so nice to not even touch each other in the bed after he always cuddles with me and then I need my space. I tend to sometimes hit Steve in the face at night because I sleep with my arms under my head and when I turn over I accidentally hit him in the face. That's his favorite thing about me. ;) Jk So after our nice big bed we decided its time to invest in a King size bed. Anyways, we played games, went around the Nauvoo sites and then Friday we went to the Temple to see his brother get sealed to his wife. It was such an amazing experience to be in such a historic place and be with people you love in the sealing room. It was awesome! Saturday we went to Carthage and Carthage Jail. I have been to Nauvoo and Carthage before and I still felt the spirit when you walk into were Joseph Smith was killed. The spirit there will never leave. I love church history and the sacrifices the pioneers went through...I can't even imagine. That is why Heavenly Father knew to send me later cause he knew I can't hack it! ;) Sunday came and it was time to go back to the real world. We headed back to Chicago and of course at the airport we sat in the airplane with no A/C for 45 min for them to fix the plane. We finally made it to Denver for another layover and finally touched Utah ground around 12 when we were suppose to be home at 10:50. Honestly we had a great trip but Frontier Airlines will never get business from us again!

It was so fun to see our nieces and nephews and even the new little guy Seth. :) He is so stinkin cute! We had a blast with them and can't wait to see them again. It's hard being so far apart but it also helps because your their favorite aunt and uncle. ;) Sorry Mike and Bione. :) jk
We are so blessed to have such great families on both sides. I couldn't ask for better in laws. They are great! I am so blessed to have Steve in my life and can't wait to start our own family some day. He needs to graduate in April and then found a full time job before that happens. :) April babe! I am so excited we just have to get Steve through his Math class. Anyone know how to do College Algebra? :)
Much Love
