Big News!

So the reason I have been such a slacker with blogging is...(Drum roll please)we are expecting another little one in January!!!

I know right...didn't you just have a baby? YES! Trust me it was a BIG surprise for us to. :) The baby is due January 25th and we are excited! Don't get me wrong its going to be hard but we can do it...right? ;) We will actually found out next friday what we will be having. Since I work at the daycare for IHC I have a hook up to found out at 16 weeks. So my next blog will be about what we are having. We love our little family and can't wait to expand it more. I really don't care what we have. I think a boy would be fun but to have another girl would be nice because we have all the clothes and they are the same season clothes. :) Emma is growing up WAY to fast. She will be 8 months old next week and we love her more and more everyday. At 8 months Emma is probably around 19 or 20 lbs. She loves to just stare at her daddy and cry when her mommy leaves the room. She is sitting up, rolling over, pushing herself around on her back. Loves to jump in her bouncer and LOVES to read books. She is teething which is making her sleep patterns bad this week. She normally sleeps 11-12 hours at night but the last couple of days she has been up it seems like every hour. Hopefully those little teeth come out soon. Mommy needs her sleep. :) Her hair is growing in thicker at the top but we just need to work on growing in the back and sides. She is doing awesome with her PT and OT. Her PT Mark said that the Major concerns we had like CP is out the window. He said most babies who have CP don't start sitting up until they are like 2 years old so we are super excited about that. We just need to work on the minor concerns like her Fine motor skills. With the help of Kids on the Move I know Emma is going to be our little super star! She improves everyday and we are so blessed to have her in our family. She teaches us so much and we are so blessed to have her here. We have been a busy little family this summer. We went to Nebraska for a family reunion on Steve's side of the family. Emma finally got to meet GrandMary for the first time and got to ride on the airplane for her 2nd time. She was awesome. I think people were really nervous to be sitting by us on the plane ride but after each flight someone would say "she did such an awesome job. What a good baby." We know she really is a good baby. Since we flew into Kansas we had to stop in Lawrence to see Kansas University. :) Steve went there before his mission and is a BIG KU fan in basketball. So we stopped there and it was like Steve was a little kid again. We got a lot KU gear for the whole family. Steve's brother and sister were also there at the reunion to so it was really nice to visit with them as well. We have been to a lot of birthday's this summer and two new nephews on my side of the family. We have been swimming, trafalga, and watching the olympics. It was been a fun summer and can't believe we only have 5 more months until baby #2 comes. :)
